Additional Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in agriculture, marketing, or market development projects with reputable NGOs, companies, or donor projects.
• Experience and proficiency in facilitating and interacting with partner staff, farmers’ groups, and climate change adaptation aspects for various crops.
• Proficient in collecting field data and preparing project documents.
• Basic computer skills in MS Office, MS Excel, and email communication.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Bangla.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, meet targets and deadlines.
• Capability and willingness to operate a motorcycle and possess a valid driving license.

Responsibilities & Context

Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, one of the leading non-life insurance companies in Bangladesh, is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its ‘Impact Business Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidates will be responsible for collecting data from the field for the development of crop insurance products.
• Monitor day-to-day project operations and its planned activities.
• Collaborate closely with the respective staff of partner organizations, farmers, local government, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with meteorologists to develop solutions.
• Monitor weather data to track the progress of weather index insurance and maintain automated weather stations (AWS) and river water level gauges.
• Regularly prepare project documents.
• Candidates should possess the determination to achieve project-oriented milestones.
