Education
B.Sc/ Honors Degree in Textile Engineering or IPE preferred.
Educational qualifications may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates in Woven Garments manufacturing.
Additional Requirements
Age 45 to 50 years
Only Male
At least 15 years of experience as GM / AGM / Factory Manager in a reputed Woven top & bottom manufacturing plant.
Strong technical expertise in Woven top & bottom construction, heavy & light fabric sewing, and wet/dry washing processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a large labor workforce.
Good communication and decision-making skills under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context
Overall responsibility for managing and leading daily production operations in Woven top & bottom lines.
Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure 100% on-time shipment.
Monitor floor production targets, sewing line efficiency, and capacity utilization across cutting, sewing, and finishing.
Maintain strict quality standards (AQL) to minimize defect rates, rework, and garment rejections.
Drive Industrial Engineering (IE) initiatives to improve SAM/SMV, line balancing, and floor layout efficiency.
Manage fabric wastage, accessories consumption, and control operational costs.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Store, and Procurement to ensure smooth material supply before loading lines.
Maintain machine maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and non-productive hours.
Ensure full compliance with BEPZA regulations, and buyer code of conduct (WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX).
Lead, train, and motivate production managers, floor supervisors, and workers to maintain a healthy work environment.
