Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are looking for an Application developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will work alongside other engineers and developers working on different infrastructure layers. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Job Description:

Design and build applications for the Android platform.
Maintain and improve existing applications.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
Implement pixel-perfect designs, design and deliver application architecture and code that is highly scalable, available & maintainable.
Ensure our mobile applications thrive in low data and power availability environments
Optimize UI for performance for low-end devices.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge case usability, and general reliability.
