Responsibilities & Context

As an Area Sales Manager of Cement Sales, will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for promoting and selling our cement products to various clients in the construction and building materials sector. Will work in a dynamic and competitive market, collaborating with construction companies, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to meet their cement requirements for different projects.

  • Develop and execute sales plans, strategies and initiatives to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends and take corrective actions to ensure consistent growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments and potential business partnerships to expand market share.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure they meet their individual and collective targets.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback and implement necessary training programs.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Build and nurture relationships with key accounts and customers within the region.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape, customer preferences and emerging trends.
  • Generate regular sales reports, forecasts and market insights to senior management. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage the area’s sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses, control costs, and maximize profitability while adhering to company financial guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical standards. Uphold a high level of integrity and professionalism in all business interactions.
