Job Description: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Position Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales growth and managing the sales operations within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing strategic plans, managing sales teams, fostering relationships with key customers, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ASM will also play a crucial role in market development, dealer management, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies in alignment with regional and company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics.
- 2) Sales Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives within the area.
- Set sales targets and quotas for the team, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales representatives, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- 3) Market Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the area.
- Expand market presence by acquiring new customers and increasing sales to existing customers.
- Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas.
- 4) Dealer and Distributor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.
- Oversee primary and secondary sales operations within the area.
- Ensure timely product availability and distribution to meet market demand.
- 5) Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- 6) Performance Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
