Education

  • Master of Arts (MA) in Marketing

Experience

    • 5 to 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

  • Strong knowledge of feed industry and livestock/poultry market.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership and team management ability.
  • Market analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in field-based sales environment.MS Office reporting skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Sales Target Achievement
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for assigned territory.
  • Develop sales plans and execute strategies to increase feed sales.
  • Monitor sales growth, market share, and customer development.
  • Dealer & Customer Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with feed dealers, farmers, poultry & livestock farms.
  • Appoint new dealers and expand distribution networks.
  • Ensure dealer satisfaction and proper product availability.
  • Market Development
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Collect customer feedback and provide market reports.
  • Team Management
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate Sales Officers/Representatives.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Provide field coaching and product knowledge training.
  • Feed Product Promotion
  • Promote company feed products (Poultry, Fish, Dairy, Cattle Feed, etc.).
  • Arrange farmer meetings, dealer meetings, and promotional activities.
  • Increase product acceptance and brand visibility.
  • Sales Monitoring & Reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Monitor sales collection, outstanding payments, and credit management.
  • Submit market intelligence reports to management.
  • Collection & Credit Control
  • Ensure timely payment collection from dealers/customers.
  • Monitor credit limits and reduce overdue accounts.
  • Coordinate with accounts and management for recovery plans.
  • Customer Support
  • Handle customer complaints and provide solutions.
  • Coordinate technical support for farmers when required.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Business Planning
  • Prepare territory sales forecasts and action plans.
  • Identify potential areas for expansion.
  • Support company objectives and sales strategies
