Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science from a reputed university.
  • A Masters degree in business administration will be an added qualification for the post of Territory Scientific Manager, but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 5/6 years’ relevant experience in a MNC or renowned company.

Skill:

  • Strong communication skills – clear, concise, and persuasive speaking abilities as well as effective writing skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills – ability to establish and maintain strong relationship and networking skill in expanding contacts.
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to interpret sales data, market research and consumer behavior insights.
  • Persuasion and negotiation skill.
  • Punctual and good in time management.
  • Effective problem solving skill.
  • Quick adaptation to new products, technologies and changes in healthcare landscape.
  • Strong customer service skills as well as upholding ethical standards and building trust with clients. Teamwork – working effectively with colleagues in sales, marketing & other departments.
  • Willingness and desire to develop career in sales.

Position: Area Scientific Manager [ASM]

Brief Job Description:

  • Promote company’s products and provide scientific information to Healthcare Professionals.
  • Arranging RTDs, CMEs, scientific meetings, consumer awareness/scientific programs and other activations.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, their benefits, usage, etc.
  • Conduct sales call and visit to chamber, hospital, clinic, institution, pharmacy shop, outlet to meet primary & secondary sales target. Building and maintaining strong relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Managing distributors and sub-distributors in assigned territory. Having clear understanding of primary and secondary sales.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to supervisor.
  • Ensure & strict adherence to SFKPIs.
  • Stay updated on new products and developments within the company and the industry.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements of the country.
