Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- ✅ Investment Disbursement & Recovery: Ensure proper screening, verification, and disbursement of Investments to eligible borrowers. Monitor repayment schedules and ensure timely collection of Investment instalments. Take proactive steps to minimize overdue Investments and improve portfolio quality.
- ✅ Client Management & Field Operations: Conduct field visits to assess borrowers’ financial conditions and business feasibility. Maintain strong relationships with clients and resolve any repayment-related issues. Work closely with field officers to ensure smooth Investment processing and recovery.
- ✅ Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate Investment records, disbursement reports, and recovery statements. Analyse financial trends and report any risks to the Branch Manager. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and microfinance regulations.
- ✅ Team Coordination: Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations. Train and guide Investment officers to improve Investment collection efficiency. Ensure all team members follow proper Investment policies and ethical lending practices.
Requirements:
- 🎓 Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 💼 Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Microfinance Institutions (MFI), specifically in Investment disbursement and recovery.
- 🚀 Skills: Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, Investment assessment, and risk management. Ability to handle field operations and negotiate with borrowers professionally. Proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting tools. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
