Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Chartered Accountancy Course Complete (CACC) candidate will get extra advantage and Article ship must be completed from any reputed Chartered Accountancy Firm.

Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Advance training certificate on Tally ERP and/or Xero are an advantage
- Proven (5+ years) experience in a similar role and in reputed International/Non-Government Organisation (INGO/NGO).
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc) and Finance & Accounts Operation software (preferably Tally Software)
- Conversant in foreign donation rules and different forms of NGOAB of Bangladesh
Responsibilities & Context
- The applicant will be responsible to look after Organization’s Financial & Accounting operational activities.
- Supervision of preparation of project budgets and preparation of budget implementation guidelines for the project team.
- Compilation of consolidated organizational budget
- Supervision of the overall functions of Finance & Accounts Department
- Monitor budget progress, VAT & Tax, Banking and other financial activities to achieve organizational goal.
- Supervising and monitoring Monthly Accounts Statements, Payroll and Employee taxes.
- Driving the financial planning of the organization by analyzing its performance and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Managing Banking relationship and processing files.
- Regular field visit, to identify the gaps and help to the relevant staff on issues identified
- Checking of daily accounting transactions at Country Office level, daily cashflow statements/central cash report.
- Checking of local income statement of all projects and ensure cash in hand is within the policy limit.
- Active participation in policy revision.
- Setting targets/responsibilities for and supervising all accounting and finance personnel.
- Preparing timely and detailed reports on financial performance in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Preparing financial statements for Head Office and External Auditors as per IFRS
- Managing the Organization’s Income Tax, VAT, RJSC, Board of Investment and Bangladesh bank related works efficiently.
- Providing strategic advice, direction and leadership for Finance division.
- Providing training to accountants/finance staff.
- Ensuring all recommendations appearing in various internal, external, regulatory audit, Compliance Review reports are implemented in an appropriate manner.
- Attend in various meeting, workshops and training sessions in-country or abroad.
- Any other work assigns by the management time to time.
