Responsibilities & Context
BRAC University (BRACU) invites applications for an energetic and enthusiastic person with an interest in pursuing a career working with students, faculty members, staff, community-based organizations and on solution-driven problems in higher education and to lead and oversee the operations, strategic planning, and implementation of initiatives of the Civic Engagement Centre within the School of General Education (GenEd).

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who will play a pivotal role in this significant area of Civic Engagement.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Dean of the School of General Education, the Assistant Director will identify and cultivate potential partnerships with non-profit, private, and academic organizations, fostering connections between these entities and students and faculty. This role involves encouraging students to explore contemporary issues and connect with the external community to develop innovative solutions. Additionally, the Assistant Director will serve as a resource and advisor to faculty members interested in forming community-based partnerships for courses and potential thesis topics.
