Assistant Engineer-Operation

Prospective candidates will be assigned the following scope of work:

1. Perform operations in accordance with established SOPs and job safety standards.

2. Respond to abnormalities and take corrective actions consistent with established operating procedures and good Engineering practices.
3. Analyze plant operating problems and coordinate solutions with the shift team members and maintenance team to increase plant availability, reliability, safety standards, etc.
4. Maintain the shift logs, equipment operation data, parameter trends, and equipment history records.
5. Conduct routine Checking of the plant to inspect equipment; provides feedback to other employees.
6. Comply with all site safety requirements and procedures. Identifies safety hazards and takes corrective actions as necessary.
7. Perform plant switching and tagging of equipment in accordance with approved procedures and prudent operations and maintenance practices under the direction of Management when assigned.
8. Perform Electrical and Mechanical inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under the direction of Management when assigned.
9. Investigate plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events, and provide analyses, recommendations, reports, and appropriate follow-up plans.
