Responsibilities & Context
Coordinate daily dispatch planning and ensure timely delivery of finished goods to all the relevant stakeholders.
Monitor vehicle allocation, transportation schedules and route execution to ensure efficient logistics operations.
Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including delivery challans, transport bills, gate passes and shipment records.
Track shipment status and resolve transportation related issues to minimize delivery delays.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, sales, transport vendors, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless product movement.
Verify transport bills, maintain freight records and assist in logistics cost monitoring and control.
Monitor inventory movement and update ERP/logistics systems to ensure data accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements in logistics operations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer service levels.
