• Masters in Business Administration, Public Administration or related management field
• Masters in Public Health or Hospital Management is preferable

Responsibilities & Context

• The post holder will work to effective and efficient Hospital management and project implementation, monitoring and documentation, He/she will coordinate with government official under ministry of Health & Family Welfare of Bangladesh for health system strengthening at district level. He/she will responsible for project data management and analysis for reporting and decision making.
• Partnership Management
• Support partner organization to enhance partner capacity in planning, monitoring, record keeping
• support partners with technical assistance for improving programmer performance and human resources development
• Maintain close coordination with district and upazila level government health authorities and staff
• Establish collaboration between partners for shred learning and strengthened networks.
• Advocacy with Government for deployment of Eye Health Care service strengthening.
• Support Staff in setting up performance targets and work plans, smooth functioning of Project and Hospital Activities.
• Provide support to develop capacities of the Hospital and Program Staff of Marium Eye Hospital
• Promote shared learning and collaboration between GO & NGO’s
• Maintain regular coordination with division, district and upazila level movement health authorities and NGO hospital partners
• Project Implementation
• Coordinate with both the GOB & NGO for effective management of services and support to achieve project activities laid in the project document for the districts.
• Maintain coordination between hospital partners and patient mobilization partners.
• Ensure compliance of the monitoring findings by monitoring team and recommendations
• Project Monitoring
• Monitor Hospitals Activities and look after standardization of the facilities.
• Monitor the patient selection to surgical procedures and find out any non-compliance of standard cataract surgical protocol.
• Monitor the visibility of Hospital Activities and it’s donors
• Monitor the progress of the access of disability, transgender, child, older people, women and ethnic minority group for eye care services.
• Safeguarding Focal Person:
• Assistant General Manager will be responsible for safeguarding Issues. Promoting and protecting Staff health, wellbeing and human rights and enabling them to live free from harm, exploitation and abuse.
• Act as the Focal Point of safeguarding, so that staff, partners and beneficiaries can contact you if they have any safeguarding concerns.
• Ensure safeguarding is embedded in project and programmer design.
• Inform all staff about your role and the process of work.
• Complete the Safeguarding incident report from and share with sight savers BCO Safeguarding lead. Hospital focal point will be responsible to form a group and investigate incidents, Maintain high confidentiality in this regards.
• Take the lead to development of safeguarding policy for the organization.
• Documentation and reporting
• Support Organization for accurate record keeping system development.
• Review all types of reports both programmatic and financial and then it submit to Head office.
• Analyses reports in district wise like target vs. achievement, number of types of disability, % of older people, criteria wise, and also Male Female Ratio etc.
• Ensure all kinds of programmer planning and performance reports/project documents are prepared and ensure timely submission to relevant Donors and Head office.
