Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting & Information System, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
  • CA Professional Level Completed. (at least partly qualified CA)
  • Certification in financial management or related fields.

Experience

  • 10 to 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Engineering Firms, Group of Companies

Responsibilities & Context

Accounting Operations:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
  • Supervise the maintenance of general ledger accounts and reconcile financial discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of day-to-day transactions in Tally software by accountants.
  • Recommend and implement necessary improvements in Tally software after management approval.
  • Lead the financial reporting team in preparing statutory accounts of the company and JVs quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly.
  • Assist external auditors in conducting statutory audits of the company and JVs.Support the CFO in managing statutory accounts, management accounts, and responding to regulatory queries (BSEC, DSE, CSE, FRC, etc.).Assist the company secretary in conducting board meetings, AGMs, EGMs, and drafting minutes.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Project Finance Management:

  • Oversee financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition for projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address financial issues and optimize project profitability.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting professional development and performance excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between the finance department and other departments.
