We are currently looking for an Experienced AGM for VAT-Tax Compliance for our VAT-Tax department.

VAT Compliance:

  • Coordinate and manage all VAT related activities of the company.
  • Oversee the accurate preparation, filing, and timely payment of VAT returns in adherence to regulatory deadlines.
  • Manage AT&VAT Refund and VDS deduction & adjustment.
  • Manage Online VAT activities including online VAT preparation & submission VAT.
  • Manage VAT registration declaration, VAT accounts & audit, appeal, export, refund, drawbacks, VDS etc.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of VAT laws and regulations, ensuring strict adherence and compliance by the company.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather essential data for VAT calculations and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness and liaison with external factors including VAT Circle, Zone, Division, Commissionerate, DEDO, NBR, Appellate, Tribunal etc.
  • Handle release of seized goods and vehicle.
  • Maintain all VAT statutory registers for Strategic Business Units (SBUs), ensuring due processes and documentation compliance.
  • Provide accurate information, statements, and guidance on tax and VAT matters to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Prepare and handle all VAT-related paperwork efficiently, responding to data requests promptly.

Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare Tax Returns: Prepare various tax returns, including corporate income tax and withholding tax, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Submission Management: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax return submissions, including participation in hearings and finalization of assessments with tax authorities.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare Financial Statements for all business units, ensuring compliance with tax and VAT regulations.
  • External Auditor Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors for the audit of Financial Statements, ensuring cooperation and compliance.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate tax and VAT policies, providing technical support and expertise using relevant laws and regulations.
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Develop risk analysis strategies to identify and mitigate tax compliance risks, ensuring the company’s compliance posture.
  • Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits, optimizing the company’s tax position.
  • Stakeholder Guidance: Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on VAT and tax-related matters, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external tax advisors or consultants to address complex tax issues and optimize tax planning strategies.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate tax audits with tax authorities, external auditors, and consultants, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Keep Liaison and communication with Tax & Vat office. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management, contributing to the efficient functioning of the tax and VAT compliance department.
