Responsibilities & Context
Drosophila, Swish is a retail company based in Bangladesh, with plans to launch flagship stores globally. We are seeking candidates with a comprehensive understanding of outlet sales planning and coordination with senior management.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing changes in outlet sales and marketing strategies, aligning with industry trends.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and enhance market share and visibility.
- Setting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for all outlets.
- Collaborating with branding teams to ensure showroom representation meets international standards.
- Working with senior management to formulate effective policies that drive sales growth and establish a positive brand image.
- Maintaining a diverse product portfolio in line with industry standards for sustainable business growth.
- Assessing market competition and identifying factors that influence business policies, products, pricing, and marketing promotions to enhance market competitiveness.
- Devising optimal marketing strategies and execution plans for brand establishment and growth.
- Monitoring marketing outcomes and taking corrective actions to ensure objectives are met within budget.
- Leading and overseeing sales and marketing operations and personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Achieving marketing and sales financial goals by forecasting needs, preparing annual budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Developing strategic plans, completing action plans, implementing productivity and customer service standards, resolving issues, conducting audits, identifying trends, and implementing improvements.
- Setting sales employee goals and conducting SWOT analyses.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth business operations and achieve area sales targets.
- Monitoring lead collection and conversion rates, as well as attendance, grooming, leave management, and lead management.
- Conducting regular physical inventory counts and monitoring credit outstanding and B2B collections.
- Escalating compliance issues to the sales administration department for resolution.
- Monitoring support activities provided by the head office.
- Meeting landlords or external store managers to resolve any issues.
- Undertaking any other tasks assigned by management.
- Additional responsibilities involve building and maintaining customer relationships, convincing clients of product suitability, preparing client quotations, negotiating and closing sales deals, offering after-sales support, managing client accounts, analyzing costs and sales figures, preparing reports for senior management, meeting sales targets, maintaining client contact data, supporting marketing efforts, attending events, delivering technical presentations, providing pre-sales assistance and product education, collaborating with sales and technical teams, solving client problems, aiding in custom product design, training sales teams, and producing support materials.
- Candidates should possess excellent coordination and presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal and communication abilities in both English and Bengali, analytical skills, leadership qualities, and strategic thinking capabilities.
