Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resource Management

Experience

  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Software Company, IT Enabled Service, Business-to-Business (B2B) Software and Services Startup

Additional Requirements

  • BBA or MBA majoring in Human Resource Management (HRM) from a reputed university.
  • Having a Post Graduate Diploma (PGDHRM) or global certification will get preference.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English. (Mandatory).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably within a fast-paced IT or software industry.
  • Previous work experience in the Software Industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and HRIS software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive approach to challenges, with strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.

Responsibilities & Context

As we expand our team, we are seeking a talented Assistant HR & Admin Manager to oversee various human resources and administrative functions within our organization. The specific designation for this role can be determined based on the individual’s expertise and experience.

HR Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee HR strategies and procedures in compliance with company regulations and best practices that support the organization’s overall business objectives.
  • Ensure HR practices align with the company’s culture and values, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining ethical and legal workplace standards.
  • Conduct workforce analysis and identify talent gaps to support strategic workforce planning.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, offboarding, and candidate records while mentoring junior recruiters.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leave management.
  • Coordinate probation appraisal/reviews and contract renewals with employees and management.
  • Ensure proper documentation and clearance during employee separation, including final settlements.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement activities regularly to enhance workplace culture.
  • Foster a culture of continuous development and feedback, encouraging professional growth.

Admin Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and functional workspace.
  • Ensure efficient office stock allocation and proper usage, while overseeing general office administration tasks, including inventory management.
  • Identify areas for improvement in administrative processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • Monthly compensation package is negotiable (based on experience) during the probationary period.
  • After the completion of the Probationary Period (6 Months in Standard Case – Can be reduced for extraordinary performers), salary will be reviewed.
