Education
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline/lab with good standing (CGPA 3.0 and above) from a well-recognized university.
Additional Requirements
Not required; but experience(s) of working in relevant labs will be given preference.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the custodian of one or more labs in the department.
Coordinate with Lab Instructors and Students. Collaborate with the Lab Coordinator and the Department Chair for lab-related requirements and updates.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all the lab equipment and lab experiments conducted in the lab. Assist in setting up experiments and provide technical support and guidance during experiments.
Store and inventory keeper of one or more labs. Track and manage inventory of lab supplies and equipment. Order new parts and components when required and keep an updated record of equipment and tool usage.
Troubleshoot and repair lab equipment or coordinate with specialists for repairs.
Train new lab personnel or students in the proper use of equipment and safety protocols.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by the department
Compensation & Other Benefits
Pay Scale: Tk. 15,999 – 1,600 – 39,998 (as per NSU policy).
