·Previous experience in IT hardware product sales & marketing will get preference.

Job Overview: Whiteshell Limited is seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Assistant Manager, Commercial, to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing key commercial activities. The Assistant Manager will handle all aspects of imports, including the management of letter of credit (L/C) processes, banking transactions, customs clearance (C&F), and costing analysis. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth execution of import processes, effective cost control, and adherence to financial regulations. This role is crucial for driving business growth through strong commercial management and efficient operations. Job Responsibilities:

·Import Documentation & Coordination: Manage import documents (purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading), coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment.

·L/C Management: Oversee the full letter of credit process from opening to settlement, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.

·Banking & Payments: Handle banking transactions, foreign currency exchanges, and ensure timely payments via L/C.

·Customs & Compliance: Ensure smooth customs clearance, compliance with trade laws, VAT, import duties, and resolve customs-related issues.

·Cost Analysis & Financial Reporting: Calculate landed costs, monitor cost variances, provide pricing input, and generate reports for management review.

·Supplier & Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate procurement terms, and evaluate vendor performance.

·Risk Management: Manage risks related to trade financing, currency fluctuations, and regulatory changes.

·Team Leadership: Guide junior staff in commercial tasks and support inter-department collaboration.

·Additional Tasks: Prepare all import documentation, coordinate with banks and agents, manage IRC, and perform other duties as assigned.
