Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

  • The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Compliance will oversee and manage the organization’s compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role will involve leading compliance initiatives, conducting thorough audits, managing risk assessments, and providing strategic guidance to various departments to uphold ethical standards and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Oversee the implementation of compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely communication and implementation of necessary adjustments.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of compliance policies and procedures.

Audit & Monitoring:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to verify compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify non-compliance issues and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during compliance audits and inspections.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize compliance risks across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Maintain and update the risk management framework and ensure effective risk controls are in place.

Policy Development & Implementation:

  • Lead the development and revision of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of compliance policies across the organization.
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Document and follow up on compliance breaches and incidents.

Training & Awareness:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of compliance obligations and ethical standards.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
  • Conduct regular compliance workshops and training sessions for employees.
