Education

  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) from any reputed university

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • The applicant must be enrolled in the bar council and also A member of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate law, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and corporate governance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills·
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team·
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously·
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities & Context

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the company’s management team on corporate law matters, including litigation, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, employment agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Ensure that the company’s operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage external legal counsel and ensure that they provide the company with high-quality legal advice and representation.
  • Represent the company in negotiations with third parties, including government agencies, customers, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the company on any necessary changes to policies and procedures.
