Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

• MBA in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage
• Professional degrees in Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Experience

• At least 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, Cement Industry, Steel

Responsibilities & Context

• Manage the logistics and distribution operation & workforce of RMC plants daily.
• Coordinate with Plant-In charge and Marketing team to ensure smooth logistics operation of the RMC plants as per schedule.
• Delivery planning and target setting in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Must achieve the delivery target.
• Monitor all logistics & distribution of RMC plants’ activities regularly.
• Evaluate, monitor, and supervise vehicle personnel (driver, helper).
• Routinely inspect vehicles and equipment – report repair priorities.
• Ensure vehicle and other related equipment are clean and properly maintained
• Coordinate with the maintenance team so that can perform their tasks promptly & with accuracy
• Maintain the required stock of spare parts to avoid any production failures in coordination with the Inventory team
• Train, develop and qualify the vehicle personnel (driver, helper) for the smooth logistics operation.
• Motivate all members related to Logistics operation so that they can contribute for the logistics and distribution
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs
• Achieve zero accident rate in logistics operation.
