Requirements

Education

• Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Technology

• Bangladesh University of Textiles,Shahjalal University of Science & Technology,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology,Daffodil International University students will get preference

Experience

• 8 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 35 years

• Experience in Buying office and Factory is highly preferable.
• Good product knowledge and sourcing process skill is a requisite.
• Must have deep knowledge of all kind of fabrics & accessories.
• Well versed in monitoring the knit Garments production.
• Strong knowledge about yarn, fabric, Garment, washing, printing and embroidery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Factory orientation within the career time will be added advantage.
• Result oriented and self driven with strong focus on deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

• Communication with buyer, factory people, other related departments/sections of the company.
• Costing of products, Follow the process, procedures of buyers & Order execution.
• Supervision of the product and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
• Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
• Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/delivery.
• Advice factory / production / quality team on fabric, production, quality etc. related technical issues as efficient / experienced troubleshooter.
• Proper execution of orders according to planned ‘Time and Action Plan’ on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
• Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer.
• Should have good connection with the buyers.
• Ability to work under pressure independently & must be target oriented.
• Frequent traveling experience and ability to work directly with retailer or importer.
• If required need to visit factory. Any other jobs assigned by the management.
