Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
Meghna Fresh LPG Limited (MFLPG) is one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI). MFLPG is engaged in producing cylinder gas for household, private, and commercial usage. MFLPG is pursuing excellent growth through a motivated & performance-driven team under the flagship brand named ‘Fresh LPG’. Currently, MFLPG is seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer who will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant, ensuring smooth and efficient production of LPG while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. The incumbent will report to the department head for the duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate production processes on a daily basis to produce high quality products.
- Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
- Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
- Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to management immediately.
- Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.
- Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
- Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
- Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
- Monitor all maintenance-related activities at the LPG Cylinder Manufacturing plant and LPG bottling system, firefighting system, and utility system of the plant and take corrective action if any discrepancy is found.
- Monitor the housekeeping schedule in order to ensure a clean, healthy, and safe plant.
