Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process, from fabric inspection to finished goods.
- Monitor in-line and final inspections to detect and resolve quality issues early.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all quality-related processes.
- Maintain accurate QA reports such as inline inspection reports, final audits, and defect analysis.
- Communicate quality concerns and production issues to production, merchandising, and buyer QA teams.
- Plan and allocate QA resources effectively across lines and shifts.
- Build awareness of quality control standards among the production team.
- Ensure all fabrics and trims meet required specifications and testing protocols (e.g., shrinkage, color fastness).
- Ensure compliance with buyer-specific quality, safety, and sustainability requirements.
