Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Packaging Industry, Electric Wire/Cable

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the Flexible Packaging or FMCG sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of flexible packaging solutions (e.g., labels, packets, pouches).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and sales tracking tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.

Responsibilities & Context

1. Sales Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed business objectives.
  • Set sales targets, forecast revenue, and ensure team accountability in achieving them.

    2. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, particularly within the FMCG sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing key clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Explore and establish strategic alliances to increase market penetration and revenue growth.

    3. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet individual and collective sales targets.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team members, providing feedback and training where necessary.

    4. Client Relationship Management

  • Understand client needs for flexible packaging solutions, including labels, pouches, and packets.
  • Present customized proposals, competitive pricing, and innovative solutions to address client requirements.
  • Address client concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

    5. Market Analysis

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide insights on product development, innovation, and pricing strategies to align with market demands.

    6. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and strategies to senior management.
  • Collaborate with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of orders and service delivery.

Skills & Expertise

Good at Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
