Responsibilities & Context

Purchase and maintain raw materials (cotton, fabrics, yarn) from local and foreign sources as per requirements.

Source the best quality materials at competitive prices in line with company policies.

Responsible for managing sustainable certification and overseeing all types of TC processing.

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and eliminate waste.

Develop and maintain sourcing plans for fabrics and yarn (local & foreign).

Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers while upholding ethical business practices.

Prepare and update import & local procurement plans for fabrics, woven yarn, and towel yarn.

Handle all import and local procurement activities, including documentation.

Execute PR, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and create Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP.

Ensure timely GRN posting in SAP for received materials.

Manage L/C, TT, FDD, and cheque-related payment processes.

Follow up on shipping, import, and customs clearance for on-time delivery.

Coordinate with freight forwarding, transportation, and C&F agents for smooth operations.

Implement annual and monthly procurement plans while monitoring inventory and aging.

Ensure required certifications for marketer’s order compliance.

Track supplier performance and maintain an updated list of approved vendors.

Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, & Audit for timely supplier payments.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
