Requirements
Education
- B.Sc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a reputed university.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Electric Wire/Cable
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
- 5-6 years of experience in Operations, Product Development, Manufacturing areas preferably in a reputed electrical appliance manufacturing company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle), strong analytical ability, team leadership, and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context
- Plan and oversee daily operations for Switch & Circuit Breaker product lines.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, SCM, and R&D for new product introduction and process optimization.
- Prepare production schedules, monitor material availability, and ensure on-time output delivery.
- Track process performance (OEE, yield rate, downtime) and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze process bottlenecks and propose productivity improvement measures.
- Prepare periodic operational reports for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean Production).
- Coordinating with R&D, QA, and Supply Chain to align component sourcing and product quality standards.
- Monitoring production, setting efficiency targets, and ensuring line balancing.
- Developing SOPs and manpower structure for continuous operation and scalability.
- Achieving target productivity, maintaining quality, and ensuring smooth operational transition for mass production.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
- Review cost productivity and process parameters to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with product quality cost and safety standards.
