• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry

Experience

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 45 years

• In-depth knowledge of the local rules and regulations governing H&S.
• Local environmental legislation.
• Preventative maintenance techniques.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 is an advantage.
• Pressure vessel maintenance is also advantageous

Responsibilities & Context

• Perform and monitor operation of Wastewater Treatment plant and ensure performance of the system to treat water as per procedure.
• Ensure legal compliance of wastewater. Face all audit ETP related.
• Perform routine laboratory analysis on the treatment processes.
• Provide guidance and direction regarding the sampling and analysis to confirm the operation of treatment processes.
• Confirm effluent treatment plant (ETP) operation throughout the process.
• Confirm Water Quality & monitoring as per Coats process water guideline.
• Maintain, modify or repair instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flow meter and other water quality monitoring equipment.
• Conduct and evaluate water surveys, water reconnaissance and water quality analysis.
• Collect water quality samples in accordance with environmental regulation.
• Quantify water quality measurements for reporting both internal & external.
• Perform and/or oversee scheduled maintenance on Plant equipment Including pumps, motors, gear, blowers, PLC & others.
• Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repairs to plant equipment and machinery.
• Ensure the total productive maintenance by our own resources to minimize the cost involving the third party.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment and general housekeeping.
• Control health and safety related, and environmental safety related issues comply with Local and global requirements.
• Ensure current company health and safety and environmental safety procedures whilst making suggestions for improvement.
• Perform facility safety inspection & report accident or incident.
• Ensure all the certification as per the local government rule for the plant ETP operation
• Ensure the implementation of environment friendly operation to minimize the energy consumption
• Manage and develop the Team
• Lead, coach and direct operators to maintain and improve performance so that they can adopt world class practices.
• Monitor the performance of operators to ensure proper training/refreshment training by doing skill matrix, training need assessment (TNA) and training plan.
• Monitor follow up and control different zones regarding 5S, safety and performance.
• Any other job as assigned by the management time to time.
