Additional Requirements

The suitable candidate/s should have a solid HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) background i.e., a Chemical Engineering Graduate with at least 6 years of working experience in a chemical or petrochemical plant would be preferred.

A leading business conglomerate engaged in export-oriented chemical manufacturing processes, looking for the below role for their Chattogram plant.

Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.
Integrate occupational health and safety decision-making with business decision-making and risk management.
Measure and report on occupational health and safety performance and benchmark it against industry norms.
Identify occupational health and hazards and complete risk assessments and incident investigations.
Advise on the maintenance and improvement of safe systems of work.
Enhance health and safety culture in the organisation.
