  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and metrics on grievance trends, settlement timelines, and compliance status for management review and decision-making.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: As an Assistant HR Manager specializing in grievance handling, final settlement, and maintaining liaison with labor courts and government offices, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth employee relations and compliance with legal regulations.

Grievance Handling:

  • Receive and Address Complaints: Act as the initial point of contact for employees filing grievances related to workplace issues, ensuring each case is handled promptly and fairly.
  • Investigate Grievances: Conduct thorough investigations into complaints to gather relevant information and perspectives from all parties involved.
  • Mediation and Resolution: Facilitate mediation sessions or meetings to resolve disputes amicably whenever possible, aiming for mutually satisfactory outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of grievances, investigations, and outcomes for reference and compliance purposes.

Final Settlement:

  • Exit Processes: Oversee the smooth transition of employees leaving the organization, ensuring all final payments, benefits, and clearances are processed correctly and on time.
  • Exit Interviews: Conduct or coordinate exit interviews to gather feedback and insights from departing employees to improve retention and organizational practices.

Liaison with Labor Court and Government Offices:

  • Legal Compliance: Stay updated with labor laws and regulations to ensure the company’s policies and practices adhere to legal requirements.
  • Representation: Act as a liaison between the company and labor courts or government offices during legal proceedings or inquiries, providing necessary documentation and information as required.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with legal counsel, if necessary, to handle legal matters effectively and ensure compliance with court orders or directives.
