Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management

Experience

    • At least 8 years

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Engineering Firms, Group of Companies, Real Estate.
  • Good communication skill and fluent in English.
  • Experience on ERP software will get advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage payroll administration and ensure timely and accurate salary processing in accordance with ERP system.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and regulations, including the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and Labor Rules 2015.
  • Maintain and update HR databases, HRIS, employee records, and payroll systems.
  • Provide strategic input on HR functions and organizational development initiatives aligned with the company`s overall vision and objectives.
  • Develop and review job descriptions, job designs, and organizational structures based on business and departmental objectives.
  • Prepare HR reports, analyses, and management information required for decision-making and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor training and development programs in line with organizational policies and business requirements.
  • Assist in recruitment and selection activities, including manpower planning, job posting, screening, interviewing, and preparation of offer and appointment letters.
  • Support organizational development initiatives and ensure HR processes are transparent, effectively communicated, and understood by all employees.
  • Ensure attendance reports, leave records, overtime sheets, and other HR documents are prepared and maintained in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Assess manpower requirements in consultation with department heads and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Conduct reference checks, background verification, and academic credential verification for prospective employees.
  • Promote employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization`s reputation as an employer of choice both internally and externally.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews, analyze findings, and recommend corrective actions to improve retention.
  • Handle employee grievances, conduct counseling sessions, and maintain proper records of grievance resolutions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Ensure a healthy, safe, hygienic, and employee-friendly workplace environment, including welfare and facility management.
  • Conduct employee orientation and onboarding programs for newly recruited employees.
  • Maintain personal files, service records, employee documentation, and statutory registers as required by law.
  • Liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders, including Labor Offices, Labor Courts, Police Stations, and local administrative bodies when required.
  • Maintain statutory registers, service books, and other records as prescribed under labor legislation.
  • Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
