Requirements

Education

Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting

MBA/ Master’s in accounting from any recognized university CA-CC/Certificate level passed will be STRONGLY preferred.

Experience

3 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

4+ years of related work experience in a large FMCG company in Internal Audit.

Sound knowledge regarding accounting software

Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel

Strong communication skill (written & spoken) in both English & Bengali

Must be an organized person capable of working independently and with strong analytical skills

Should have excellent reporting skills

Responsibilities & Context

Checking, Verification & Investigation of all journal vouchers

Monthly Audit on salary payment & provision

Yearly physical inventory of material, Fixed assets spare parts etc

Verification of daily Cash, Bank & Journal Vouchers of all concerns

Checking of Annual Accounts, Half yearly Accounts, Quarterly Accounts and preparation of cash flow, Value added statement & changes in equity of all concerns

Fixed Asset Register preparation

Verification of Debtors/Distributors Balance confirmation

Verification of the wastage at the time of production/variance analysis between actual and standard consumption

Comparison between distributor expenses/Delivery expenses and sales ( Verification of trend of distributor expenses with sales)

Any other assignment by the chief Financial Officer
