  • Candidate must have relevant export experience in food/Cosmetics & personal care/MFCG products.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in export management or international trade.
  • Proven experience in handling global markets and dealing with international clients.
  • Strong understanding of export laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using export management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • This position is based at our corporate headquarters, with occasional travel required for international business meetings and trade shows.
  • The successful applicant must also be prepared to work outside of Bangladesh as needed.

Responsibilities & Context

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager for our International Business Division. This mid-level role is integral to our global operations, focusing on expanding our market presence and ensuring smooth export processes. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the global market, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to international trade challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential customers and potential markets.
  • Analyze international market trends and customer needs to formulate strategic plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of export strategies to enhance market penetration.

    Export Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the export department to ensure timely and efficient shipment of goods.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to manage export activities.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

    Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and new international customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with foreign buyers.

    Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of export activities and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on export sales, market trends, and departmental performance.
  • Analyze financial data related to export operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
