  • Understanding of project management methodologies to plan, execute, and evaluate learning and culture initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with project teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Skilled in critical-thinking, problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and develop creative solutions.

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a dedicated Learning and Development team member to execute comprehensive learning strategies and programs that address organizational skill gaps. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of training initiatives across all levels and driving continuous improvement to enhance our learning and development efforts.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

Learning and Development Strategy Development:

  • Perform assessment of organizational learning needs and develop comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Consult with key stakeholders to gather input and insights to identify critical skills and competencies needed for organizational success.
  • Create and maintain competency frameworks and key skills required for organizational success for different roles and functions.
  • Assist in establishing learning goals and objectives for individuals and teams.

Learning and Development Program Design:

  • Develop comprehensive training programs based on the training needs analysis, skill gaps, and learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts such as department heads, HR professionals and employees to develop tailored training plans for individuals and teams to address skill gaps.
  • Analyze data from performance reviews, employee surveys, and assessments to recommend customized learning interventions at individual, team, and department levels.
  • Research and identify potential vendors and learning resources that align with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Support the selection and management of vendors for training programs based on organizational priorities, budget, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management team for efficient procurement of external vendors for L&D, including purchase order management and timely payment processing.
  • Coordinate with external training providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and materials.

Learning & Development Programs Implementation:

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure smooth execution of the Learning & Development Calendar for the year.
  • Ensure clear communication regarding Learning & Development calendar across the organization through various communication channels.
  • Oversee the planning of the training batches, coordination of logistics for the training workshops, and ensuring high levels of participation in L&D Programs.
  • Facilitate engaging soft skills training programs up to the Junior Management and Middle management level.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of e-learning modules as per the organizational training needs analysis.
  • Develop and implement L&D campaigns, such as communication mailers, learning weeks, and track learning hours.
  • Act as a key point of contact for departmental queries related to learning programs, providing insights and updates on learning initiatives.

Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Publish dashboards displaying key L&D KPIs (learning hours per individual etc.), segmented by function and level and assist in refining learning interventions based on the insights.
