Responsibilities & Context

Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification:
  • Identify and qualify leads, prospects, and potential business opportunities through effective market research, networking, and relationship building.
  • Also push agent to send leads as it’s a push-pull strategy.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions to meet their freight forwarding requirements.

Agent Development:

  • Developing agent worldwide through networking, communication and attending in various agent conferences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, customer service, CHB and Finance to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
  • Proposal Preparation and Negotiation:
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and closing deals on daily basis based on  customer requirement.
  • Market Monitoring and Adaptation:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Developing team in a way to have all updated information from market.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Development through Training:
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate sales team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability. Make weekly team meeting, sales visit with team to make them stronger day by day.
  • DSO:
  • Maintain healthy payment flow from customer and maintain a multilevel relationship with customer to complete the process. also keep in touch with our account dept. on regular basis.

Achievement of Targets:

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by following above all points to drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the freight forwarding division.
