Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Manager (Marketing & Sales) who is ready to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and support the sales process to close deals in both the public and private sectors. This role requires a proactive individual with strong marketing acumen and sales experience.

Support Sales Activities:

  • Assist in closing new business deals by assessing requirements, contributing to contract negotiations, and ensuring integration of contract requirements with business operations.
  • Help develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers and regularly visit the market to stay updated on trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in meeting the yearly sales target set by higher management.

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in building marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage.
  • Help evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives.
  • Assist in proposing and managing marketing research projects to generate consumer insights and support improved marketing strategy and communications.
  • Partner with creative teams, internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.

Execution and Strategy:

  • Support the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Help accommodate new and different demands from customers and partners, actively developing strategies to meet them.
  • Assist in achieving quarterly and annual sales targets and contribute to the formulation of business plans.

Additional Duties:

  • Use personal network and experience to support winning projects from each product market segment.
  • Maintain a healthy relationship with all stakeholders of the company.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience in the ICT field is mandatory for this position.
  • Strong understanding of ICT products and software.
  • Must have computer literacy and proficiency in standard office software.
  • Knowledge of local and international tender processes, including PPR, DPP, EOI, RFP.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Must be a team player with a result-oriented, smart personality and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to think creatively and identify gaps, creating promotional material in line with the marketing plan.
  • Representative attitude and promptness in oral and written English communication skills.
  • Competent in proposal writing and documentation.
  • Good consulting skills, with the ability to analyze and research market trends and responses.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
