Responsibilities & Context
- Responsible for managing and overseeing quality operations in both footwear and non-footwear factories within the assigned coverage area.
- Independently handle all quality improvement operations with strong problem-solving skills.
- Drive action plans to achieve quality KPI, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (CFT) to meet and sustain cost-effective KPI targets, including minimizing SR (Sample Rejection) and CC (Customer Complaints).
- Ensure consistent focus on “Right First Time” quality standards and execution across all production processes.
- Possess strong knowledge of required physical testing procedures (for materials and finished goods) and related standard parameters as per SATRA and ISO standards.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of footwear and accessories (bags, belts) including product re-engineering, materials, product life cycle, and standard operating procedures (SOP) across different manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of product safety standards for footwear and leather goods such as bags and belts.
