Additional Requirements
- Age 32 to 45 years
- Strong knowledge of fabric defects, shrinkage, GSM control, and cutting operations.
- Familiarity with 5S, QMS, TQM, and buyer compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.
Responsibilities & Context
1. Fabric & Trim Inspection
- Conduct fabric inspections using the 4-Point Fabric Inspection System.
- Inspect trims & accessories for quality, color matching, and defects.
- Approve fabric, rib, and trims based on company and buyer requirements.
2. Garment Quality Control
- Identify and resolve cutting quality issues before production.
- Assess print and embroidery quality, ensuring alignment, durability, and color consistency.
- Conduct batch control for washed & non-washed garments to maintain consistency.
- Monitor fabric GSM, shrinkage, and twisting reports to ensure product stability.
3. Washing & Finishing Processes
- Oversee garment washing processes, including industrial & domestic wash.
- Ensure compliance with CPL (Critical Path to Launch) & garment wash standards.
4. Technical & Compliance Knowledge
- Utilize Auto CAD, marker making, and pattern correction techniques for quality optimization.
- Ensure garments meet 5S, QMS (Quality Management System), and TQM (Total Quality Management) standards.
- Manage sharp tools control to ensure workplace safety.
- Address product & children’s safety issues per industry regulations.
5. Buyer Requirements & Reporting
- Maintain primary, secondary & tertiary light standards as per buyer specifications.
- Generate reports on fabric defects, wash test results, and pattern corrections.
- Perform any additional quality control tasks assigned by the company.
