Responsibilities & Context

  • Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing – Seed Potato, Paddy & Vegetables (Agribusiness) will be a proactive and dynamic person who will be responsible for Seed Marketing & Management, and business expansion. He will increase sales of agricultural products through new, innovative and effective marketing ideas.
  • Conduct market research and prepare forecast plan for Sales and Marketing;
  • Assist to develop marketing plan, strategy and feasibility of operations and implement them;
  • Seek out opportunity for Sales generation, where Seeds, fruits and other farming products can be marketed;
  • Increase the Market Coverage and ensure product placement is at desired outlets;
  • Assist to develop content for branding, Promotions, packaging designs, trading and BTL advertising;
  • Identify market trends, spending patterns and consumer behavior and suggest plan of actions;
  • Analyze competitors to know competitors product and compare market share;
  • To forecast sales and ensure orders are taken based on capabilities;
  • Achieve sales volume target, revenue and profitability goals;
  • Monitoring and follow up of Field Force activities and achieve results by them;
  • Raise awareness and contact the wholesalers, retailers and end users about existing and new products;
  • Generate ideas and develop new products for expanding business; Prepare accurate sales, pricing and demand reports;
  • Prepare daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly sales and delivery reports;
  • Create invoice, voucher for every sale and update company records and register books.
