Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Apparel Manufacturing, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing

Experience

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments

• Capable to handle product development & sampling program;
• Able to sourcing material with good quality & competitive price;
• Sound Knowledge to prepare costing;
• Strong communication abilities, in Bengali and English, both oral and written.
• Computer Literacy is a must especially in office package.
• Should be a team player having good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities & Context

• Maintain continuous and effective communication with buyers, factories, and internal departments to ensure proper coordination and workflow.
• Prepare accurate product costing and ensure adherence to buyer-specific processes and procedures for seamless order execution.
• Supervise product development activities and lead price negotiations with buyers to secure final, acceptable rates.
• Oversee updates related to production status, sample approvals, and lab dips, ensuring merchandisers provide timely information to buyers.
• Monitor the status of approvals, pre-production activities, and delivery schedules to ensure compliance with buyer timelines.
• Advise production, quality, and factory teams on technical issues related to fabric, production, and quality standards; resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure proper execution of orders as per the Time and Action Plan (TNA) to meet shipment deadlines with the right quality and quantity.
• Engage in new business development and promote the organization to potential new buyers.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and new buyers.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently under pressure and meet departmental and organizational targets.
• Travel frequently as required and work directly with retailers or importers to meet business needs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support departmental goals.
