Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with international buyers.
Strong understanding of product development processes, fabrics, and trims.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Context: –

We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive – Development Merchandising to manage and coordinate the product development process for renowned buyer. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality, on-time delivery, and alignment with the buyer’s requirements.

Job Responsibilities:-

Manage product development from concept to sample approval for renowned buyer.
Communicate effectively with the buyer to understand their requirements, ensuring all standards are met.
Coordinate with the design, sourcing, and production teams to develop products in line with buyer specifications.
Monitor raw material sourcing, trims, and accessories to meet design and quality expectations.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including T&A (Time & Action) plans, development trackers, and cost sheets.
Ensure samples are prepared and delivered within agreed timelines.
Work closely with the QA team to ensure all products meet renowned buyer quality standards.
Stay updated on the latest market trends and materials relevant to the buyer’s expectations.
Address and resolve any issues related to product development promptly.
