• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Experience

• Should have sound knowledge on computer Hardware, Networking & system support.

• Well conversant with email client tools, provide IT supports to end-user devices.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context :SR Shipping is a sister concern of KSRM Group of Industries. SR Shipping vessels are managed by Brave Royal Ship Management (BD) Ltd. Our vessels are Bulk Carrier DWT/45000-66000 with cargo gear.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide system support and general configuration of various software., installation of various OS system, and give preference familiar with Mac OS.
• Network fault handling by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages of Communication with follow up.
• Ensure active tracking and record for all movement of IT assets.
• The incumbent has to manage, control the end-user device and familiar with remote assistance tools.
• Liaison with hardware and software providers as necessary.
• Regular report provides to the top management on IT Issues of Vessels and their rectification status.
• Ensure group policy control AD/router/Firewall; and data backup and restore system.
• Ensure Email setup with new/existing users for Office365 or Microsoft Exchange.
• To manage LAN, Access Control, IP Phone as IT administration.
• Upgrade / fix IT hardware devices in collaboration with IT team as necessary.
• To manage Hardware troubleshooting of PC & related issues.
• To maintain Documentation work for IT store and inventory.
• Any other tasks assigned by the superior or Management from time to time.
