- Comprisable if the candidate has strong background experience in sales and marketing of construction materials.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering project or sales related to building materials.
- Analytical Mind: Analyze data, solve problem and find opportunity for the business.
- Professional Network and Resourcefulness: Highly appreciable and welcoming.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction materials such as concrete, steel, cement, sanitary ware, electrical items etc., and their applications in building projects.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales, customer service, or technical consulting.
- Experience in B2B sales or a related field is preferable.
- Digital Proficiency: Familiar with online sales platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bengali and English.
Responsibilities & Context
- Plan, promote and sale products of an ‘Online Marketplace’ on construction material.
- Meet weekly, monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Ensure customer retention in the Online Marketplace.
- Effectively communicate and liaise with Corporate House and Dealers of building materials.
- They are the lion stakeholders of the whole business.
- Provide customers with professional recommendations for the right choice of building material according to project requirements.
- Build long-term relationships with Corporate House, Dealers, Builders, Contractors and other construction professionals to build repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Gather feedback from merchants, customers or prospects; share with internal teams and analyze for business growth.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve given targets. But be able to perform duties individually or as a Team Leader.
