  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound working knowledge with all govt. Institution like CCIE, BIDA, RJSC, DEDO, BGMEA.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities & Context

Madina Group is seeking two Assistant Managers (Supply Chain) to join its team. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in import operations and the ability to independently manage a commercial department.

  • Possess sound knowledge of all documentation required for commercial import operations.
  • Oversee the entire import process, both local and foreign, for raw materials, machinery, spare parts, etc. & finalize all import documents efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate with the bank regarding all import activities, including loan sanction, renewal, repayment, LC, purchase, and maturity payment.
  • Monitor the movement of shipments through global supply chains & communicate with suppliers and merchandisers regarding LC and acceptance.
  • Analyze all in-hand L/C(s), stock of goods, and transport capability to facilitate delivery from the port to the factory and handle LC opening and amendments efficiently.
  • Verify import vendor bills, custom duty calculations in B/E, CHA charges bill with agreed rates, and applicable tariffs as per customs regulations.
  • Collect and endorse import documents promptly. Handle all acceptances for local suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with C&F agents regarding import matters & Provide vehicle programs to C&F agents properly as per import consignment requirements.
