Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 40 years
  • Must be expert on MS Office, MS Excel.
  • Excellent written Communication skill in both English and Bangla.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Leadership and team management experience.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations from procurement to delivery.
  • This role involves strategic planning, coordination with various departments, and managing logistics to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality and prices.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Implement and manage logistics software and systems for efficient operations (if needed).
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.  – Develop inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Work with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain.
  • Prepare and manage the supply chain budget.
  • Lead and manage the supply chain team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics and performance.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
