Additional Requirements

  • Constant alertness to engineering design risks and opportunities, including proactive intervention where required.
  • The ability to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, financial, experience and judgment.
  • The ability to follow up and follow through on delegated instructions and tasks.
  • Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications and related software packages, with proficiency in MS Excel a must (proficiency in MS Project and PrimaveraP6 an advantage).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Design and stage telepresence solutions using AV system components such as LCD/Plasma displays, DLP projection systems, HD camera systems, control systems,microphones, speakers, video/audio distribution amplifiers, scalars, and switchers power distribution.
  • Contribute to the design and documentation of IT systems, including cost plan advice, ranging from Core networks, IPTel, WLAN, IPTV, Asset Tracking, audio-visualsystems, video conferencing etc.
  • Review work of third-party audio/video install teams to ensure compliance with company standards¬∑ Assist in the design and implementation of audio systems.
  • Knowledge on Video Conferencing platforms.
  • Identify and provide support for Unified Communications platforms including integration into AV systems, video conferencing platforms and other IT tools as necessary.
  • Several years of demonstrated experience in the Audio Visual and communications engineering field.
  • Conduct advanced programming allowing for a single point of control for audio visual systems.
  • Perform appearance and preventive maintenance visits to conference rooms (VC connections, wires, peripherals, speakers).
  • Provide training on-site to the end user.
  • Flexible with working hours to collaborate with our Global OEM across several time zones, able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Building strong relationships with potential clients to earn their trust and confidence.
