Responsibilities & Context

To effectively identify, secure, and manage tender business opportunities, ensuring the company’s growth and profitability by developing competitive and compliant tender proposals, building strong client relationships, and consistently achieving tender business targets.

  • Actively searching for and identifying new tender opportunities from various sources such as online portals, industry publications, and networking events.
  • Leading the preparation of comprehensive and compelling tender proposals that highlight the company’s strengths and meet all client requirements.
  • Conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis to develop effective tender strategies that increase the likelihood of winning bids.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments (e.g., finance, legal, technical) to gather necessary information and ensure all aspects of the tender submission are complete and accurate.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition of the company’s offerings.
  • Developing competitive pricing and costing models in collaboration with the finance team to ensure proposals are both attractive to clients and profitable for the company.
  • Engaging in negotiations with clients and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions for tender contracts.
  • Ensuring all tender submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards, and maintaining high-quality documentation.
  • Setting and achieving tender business targets by consistently securing new business through successful tender submissions.
  • Monitoring the progress of submitted tenders, addressing any queries from clients, and participating in contract negotiations if the tender is successful.
  • Keeping accurate records of all tender activities, providing regular reports to senior management on tender status and outcomes, and analyzing win/loss ratios to improve future performance.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving tender processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
