Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering preferred), or an MBA in Operations.
Experience

- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Steel
Additional Requirements
- Age 28 to 35 years
- Only Male
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of practical experience in the steel industry with an essential understanding of steel-making processes. Experience in sales and marketing of engineering products is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Deep understanding of international trade, logistics, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel for data entry and aggregation).
- Preferred Background: Experience working at a Japanese trading company or other global Multinational Corporations (MNCs) is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities & Context
Company Overview
A leading Japanese global trading company specializing in steel, raw materials, and industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities. Deepen relationships with existing clients in Bangladesh and collaborate with global teams to develop new business accounts.
- Account Management: Visit clients regularly to understand their needs, building strong and trusting relationships with procurement, maintenance, and operations departments within the steel and related sectors.
- Commercial & Profit Management: Prepare technical and commercial proposals (quotations), negotiate prices, manage profit margins against budgets, coordinate timely deliveries, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Trade & Logistics Operations: Strictly review and manage domestic and international customs and shipping documents (including L/C, B/L, invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, and quality certificates).
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze import/export data, provide market insights to management to inform future strategies, and update weekly reports.
