  • Graduation / Master’s in relevant field (e.g., Urban Regional Planning / Social Sciences / Environmental Management or related disciplines) from recognized university.

  • Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting within humanitarian or development projects, preferably in site development or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in data collection and management tools such as KOBO, GIS, and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bengali; knowledge of the Rohingya language is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations in challenging conditions.
  • Dynamism and computer skill.

Responsibilities & Context

The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective MEAL and report writing by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of Site Development in camp 22, 24 and 25 at Cox’s Bazar District. This position holder will be responsible to MEAL and Report Writing of the SD project as per the guideline.

  • Data Collection and Monitoring:
  • Conduct regular field visits to project sites to monitor the progress of site development activities, ensuring they align with project plans and objectives.
  • Gather and compile data related to project activities, including infrastructure development and environmental management.
  • Utilize data collection tools such as KOBO, GIS, and other digital platforms to record and manage field data accurately.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on the status of site development activities, highlighting achievements, challenges, and any deviations from the plan.
  • Compile and analyze data for bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, ensuring that all reports are comprehensive and meet donor and organizational requirements.
  • Assist in preparing visual data presentations, including charts, graphs, and maps, to effectively communicate project progress.
  • Data Management:
  • Maintain an organized database of all project-related information, including monitoring data, reports, and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity and security, adhering to organizational data management policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of data collection tools and reporting templates to improve monitoring efficiency and effectiveness. Quality Assurance:
  • Participate in regular quality assurance reviews of site development activities, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the project team based on monitoring findings, supporting continuous improvement of project implementation.
  • Ensure that all activities are compliant with relevant standards, including humanitarian guidelines, environmental regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
  • Learning and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Document lessons learned and best practices from the site development project, contributing to organizational learning and future project planning.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, workshops, and forums to share insights and experiences related to monitoring and reporting. Other Duties·
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator in line with the overall objectives of the site development project.
